We understand that bringing young children to the theatre can be quite an adventure so we thought we would try and make your first visit to The Princess Royal Theatre an easy and special one. We have tried to think of everything you will need to know about bringing a family to The Princess Royal Theatre to watch a show.

Family Shows
We have some shows in our programme that are aimed specifically at families and young children.
Family Show Pricing
For most of our family shows we have a concessionary ticket price or it will be part of the ‘family ticket’. The family ticket offers a reduced price for anyone booking two adults and two children within the same transaction. When you are booking a Family Ticket on our website, the price will be automatically be updated in your basket.
Toilets/ Baby Changing Facilities
We have toilets located on all levels of The Princess Royal Theatre and our baby changing facilities and accessible toilets are located on the ground floor in the theatre entrance foyer.
Pushchairs
The lower floor is fully accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Unfortunately we do not allow the pushchairs into the auditorium for the performance but you can leave it with the front of house staff and they will store it safely for you. There is no disabled access to the upstairs of the theatre. Please inform our box office staff of any required wheelchair spaces when making your booking.
The Bar
We have products that are suitable for children including drinks and snacks.
Lapseat Policy
There is no charge for children aged 2 years and under but please inform box office when you are booking your tickets. *Selected shows may have their own age policy that the theatre must abide by
Parking
During the hours of 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday there is no on-site parking – we recommend using Port Talbot Multi-Storey Car Park, SA12 8HN
