DPSS637 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Caewern (Neath)
I am a lady in my sixties living in Caewern, I am a petite lady and use a wheelchair. I have cerebral palsy and rheumatoid arthritis which can cause me pain. Due to my mobility issues, I require support using a bath hoist, but I try to be as independent with my personal care as possible. I do however also require support when washing my hair. DPSS485 - Personal Assistant - Baglan - 8 Hrs Per week (Port Talbot)
I am a 18 year old Autistic lady living in the Baglan area of Port Talbot. I am looking for a personal assistant to support me out in the community and support me with life skills. I love going out in the car for a drive, going to Starbucks and going down to the beach. Most of my time with the PA will be spent driving round places I enjoy, and sitting with me in the car when we are there. I can be very anxious so will need some reassurance when out in the community and need someone who can hold a conversation with me and put me at ease. Routine is massively important to me. As my autism affects me in different ways I would prefer to have a PA with some experience of supporting young adults with Autism.
CAR DRIVER IS ESSENTIAL
8 hours per week
Days and times are flexible.

DPSS560 - Personal Assistant - 10 hours - Crymlyn Burrows (Swansea)
I am a gentleman in my fifties living in the Crymlyn Burrows area of Swansea with my 2 friendly little dogs. I have Agoraphobia, Monophobia and Epilepsy. I also have a spinal injury and some hip problems that can affect my mobility. I normally get around on my crutches but now can get tired if I go too far. Getting out can be a bit of a chore to me so I like to do activities that help me to relax such as going to the spa/leisure centre. I will become more mobile physically over time so someone who likes things like walking, bike rides, a little gym would be beneficial. I like animals and getting out into nature. I also enjoy going to the theatre now and then. I’m a practicing Christian and would like to be able to attend church more often.
10 hours per week to be worked over 3 days.
Normally a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3 to 4 hours per session.
In addition every other Saturday evening if possible.
Hours and start times can be flexible and can be discussed at interview.
