The project wishes to celebrate people’s connection to the special landscapes of the Upper Afan and Upper Rhondda Valleys through the “Lost Peatlands Story”. We are very interested to hear if you have anything you can tell us about your local landscape and history.
We want to capture the history, traditions, past use and memories of the area and share these with both local residents and visitors. We plan to tell the “Lost Peatlands Story” through our digital app, via our website and through community events.
